After completing my engineering degree at TU Darmstadt in 2022, I was able to build deep expertise in artificial intelligence at Fraunhofer Austria.

As a board member of AI Austria, Austria's largest AI network, I founded the GenAI Community with great passion – Austria's only platform for generative AI.

Technical progress and exchange with others are particularly valuable to me. That's why I am deeply committed to this field. My goal is to make AI accessible and useful for everyone.

Daniel Toth

I have been working continuously since the age of 15 – in internships, student jobs, and later in research and industry projects – always with the goal of discovering which tasks truly drive me. This constant practice early on brought me to the intersection of technology, innovation, and real problem solving.

During my studies at TU Wien, which I completed in 2022 as a Diplom-Ingenieur, I gained deep experience in research and industrial application already in the Bachelor's phase. In the years that followed, this evolved into a professional focus: custom AI and digitalization projects that create measurable enterprise value and solve complex technical challenges.

At Fraunhofer Austria I led numerous projects – internal and external, often with international consortia and durations of up to three years. My strengths lie in rapid comprehension, strategic thinking, and the ability to turn ideas into functional prototypes and ultimately into industrial applications.

With Klartext AI I apply exactly this experience: We develop AI software solutions that are individually tailored to companies and generate impact where standard solutions reach their limits. Whether process optimization, automation, decision support, or – as one part of it – accessible communication: What matters is that technology solves real problems and creates sustainable impact.

Outside of work you can find me in the gym, on the football field, or cooking. In the office, Bruno – our office dog – provides the daily dose of calm and good mood.

My background combines economics, data science, and software engineering. Economics taught me that technical problems are rarely only technical – they are also human, organizational, and societal. Data science taught me how to make hidden patterns visible. At Klartext AI, I use this perspective to build AI systems that turn complexity into clarity.

I am not interested in AI for its own sake. A system is only valuable if it works in practice, remains understandable, and creates measurable benefit without hiding uncertainty or responsibility. As CTO, my focus is on reliable, transparent, and maintainable AI solutions that help companies make better decisions instead of simply automating confusion.

I also serve on the board of AIM, a European tech network with 500 AI enthusiasts. What motivates me there and at Klartext AI is the same: building technology through curiosity, critical thinking, and a culture where people can challenge each other honestly and respectfully.

My path into computer science was not a straight one – and that is exactly what defines it. Coming from a business background, I realised at some point that the technical side of problem solving fascinated me most. So I made a deliberate decision – took a step that turned out to be the right one. In computer science, I found what truly drives me: the ability to turn abstract ideas into something concrete, through analytical thinking, technical creativity, and the right choice of tools.

Full-stack development means to me understanding systems as a whole – not looking at individual parts in isolation, but recognising how everything connects. Through my experience so far, I have learned that the best solutions emerge where technical precision meets a deep understanding of the actual problem. Where we do not just build, but also question – and where the courage to take new paths creates space for real innovation.

Studying at FH Campus Wien has given me the room to dive even deeper into computer science – with a particular focus on artificial intelligence. That is exactly where I see the greatest potential to push boundaries and create solutions that would not be possible with classical approaches alone. I actively seek out challenges that help me grow – with the ambition not just to follow innovation, but to help shape it.

David Janisch

I got into software development early on – driven by genuine curiosity about how technology works and what can be built with it. Since the age of 14, I have been motivated not just to try out new technical possibilities, but to truly understand them and apply them meaningfully. My studies in Software Engineering at TU Wien deepened this path.

Over the past years I have worked on very different systems: from web platforms and internal tools to ERP and CRM solutions and digital products in startup environments. My own projects around Arties and Ancora were particularly formative – as CTO and Lead Developer, I took technical ownership from the first idea through to launch. My long-standing work on ERP systems has also shown me how important good domain understanding, clear processes, and stable architecture are for sustainable software.

I see myself as a generalist in software development, with a particular focus on complex problem spaces. I enjoy working through unclear requirements, identifying their underlying structure, and turning them into simple, robust solutions. Getting the balance right between speed and quality matters to me: pragmatic enough to move things forward, precise enough to make them last.

What fascinates me most about AI is that it opens up new solution spaces. Many things that seemed barely realistic just a few years ago are now practically applicable. I am motivated by making these possibilities usable at the intersection of product, technology, and business processes – not as an end in themselves, but where they simplify work, make knowledge more accessible, and create real value.

Outside of work, sport is an important balance for me. I enjoy the gym, hiking, beach volleyball, and – whenever possible – kitesurfing. I also love to travel, discover new places and cultures, and learn languages. This joy of exploration carries over into my professional life too: understanding new technologies, making sense of them, and applying them meaningfully.

Otto Winter

I did my bachelor's in Software Engineering at TU Wien (2019–2023). During my studies I was a student tutor for the course Introduction to Security, answering student questions, testing the challenges, and grading submissions.

At Hilti Group in Schaan, Liechtenstein, I completed two internships, both on prototypes for future products. In 2018 I implemented the software stack of a prototype and wrote the code base for rapid, iterative development. In 2019 I worked in a team of two on another prototype, implementing real-time vision and control for a robotics platform.

Bruno

Chief Happiness Officer

• Responsible for office security – at least until someone pets him...

Bruno is our Chief Happiness Officer and officially responsible for the team's emotional stability. As a 4-year-old Cockerpoo, he combines the curiosity of a Cocker Spaniel with the strategic intelligence of a Poodle – a mix that shows above all in perfected naps and highly professional snack monitoring.

He completed his studies in ‘scent tracking’ with a distinct practical focus. His daily tasks include carpet quality checks, monitoring food smells, and proactively neutralizing stress through targeted tail wagging.

He also takes on office security: He reliably guards the rooms as long as no person appears with a treat – then the case is re-evaluated.

In short: Bruno ensures that Klartext AI not only builds intelligent software but also has a smarter work climate.
